UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine and the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates. UCI Temporary Employment Services assists in providing temporary staffing throughout the UCI campus, medical center and satellite facilities. There is no need to submit more than one application to temporary jobs within the calendar year. Any given application to UCI Temporary Employment Services will make you an applicant to all temporary recruitments. DUTIES: Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients. Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients' charts. Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders. Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.). Provide instant medical care in emergencies. Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families. Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Assist in any other job duties needed.
