Reporting to the Director of Student Psychological Services, this position will provide therapy, consultation, crisis intervention, referrals to appropriate campus and community resources.
Strong work ethic.
Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a Masters in Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Professional Counseling.
Licensed in California
Counseling experience in university setting preferred.
Minimum of two years experience in direct psychological service delivery required. Evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse socioeconomic, cultural, religious, ethnic and academic backgrounds of college students required. Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of clinical or counseling psychology.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and summaries.
Highly developed organizational skills.
Demonstrated computer competency and knowledge of social media, electronic records and other relevant computer systems.
