Position Summary:

* Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)

* Facility:Medical Center Of the Rockies (MCR), Loveland CO

* 13 Week Travel Assignment

* Full Time Days or Rotating

Position Requirements:


RN Traveler contract - 13 weeks with option to extend

* America Heart Association BLS and CO RN License or Compact License

* Med/Surg RN Experience

Education:

* Bachelors degree nursing is preferred


RN Traveler - Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO - Medical Specialties 5 South

5-south is an 18 bed unit - generally sees an overflow population at this time of medical, ortho, some surgical. We are currently the floor level designated COVID unit, with an adjusted matrix for this population. Estimated in first quarter of 2021 we will be opening 6 PCU beds.

Job Duties

* Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

* Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

* Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

* Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires

This position's pay is: $38.00/hour + travel stipend/package. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
