Conducts routine tests in clinical laboratories for use in treatment and diagnosis of diseases. Performs urinalyses, blood counts, and venipunctures and analyzes body fluids, tissues, and cells. May be under the supervision of a Medical Technologist (MT).
MT/MLT, AMT, or HEW registry or MT/MLT registry eligible. If registry eligible, licensure must be completed within one year of start date.
Associate's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. Or Bachelor's degree if MT.
