The Medical Center ofAurora (TMCA) offers a full range of imaging tools to provide patients withdiagnostic services. Our digital imaging technology allows doctors to accesstest results immediately, so treatment can begin more quickly.
PositionSummary:This position supports the mission of TheMedical Center of Aurora/ Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality oflife of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medicalneeds to the needs of the whole person.Under the direction of the Supervisor of Radiology, transports patientsto and from all Radiology modalities (with an emphasis on MRI patients) usingcarts, wheelchairs, and beds. Assists technologists/nurses in moving patientsand ensures communication forms are filled out completely by all staff. Aids inequipment set up for MRI scans. Accesses patient information via computer toobtain patient history for technologist/physician review. Responsible forcapturing lab results for pending exams and will receive competency to performdrawing labs. Stocks supplies and cleans equipment throughout the shift. Willcollaborate with other transporters for help with patient volume, and coverageof regular/PTO/holiday shifts. When need arises, will perform other duties asassigned by supervisor.
