DESCRIPTIONThe University of California, San Diego Health System seeks an individual with advanced knowledge in Office 365 administration, Hyper-V, Active Directory, ADFS, SAML, Azure AD, andother authentication mechanisms as well as general Windows Server knowledge and experience. The successful applicant will have a background in the implementation and administration of aOffice 365 Exchange Online, Skype for Business, Teams, under a DIAD v3 tiered administrativeforest(s) model. The incumbent will be responsible for the entire messaging stack, including mail routing via a hosted Proofpoint instance, synchronization of AD attributes using Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD connect, and Quest Active Roles toolsets. In addition, the applicant will have implemented and administered PAW systems and PAM technologies for security and daily administrative duties. The engineer will obtain requirements and work closely with the Enterprise IT Architect to deliver robust and secured authentication solutions for all enterprise applications. The incumbent will have a good background in technical writing and documentation. In conjunction with the Enterprise IT architect, the incumbent provides system design proposals, analysis, maintenance, monitoring, cost analysis and hardening designs (including data security) of systems and servers including installations, upgrades, patches, as well as documentation with primary responsibility for the implementation, management, support and maintenance of various system software products and hardware components that comprise enterprise physical and virtual computing infrastructure. Provides leadership in managing and supporting the systems/hardware infrastructure and associated resources. Provides 7/24 problem management support and resolution for all applications and operating systems as part of the on-call rotation. Incumbent will have advanced knowledge with a variety of software tools, including those related to support and implementation. Incumbents provide consultation and knowledge transfer with respect to a variety of authentication system and software components. General knowledge and experience running systems in the following areas is preferred: HyperV, Windows Server, Office 365, and Proofpoint. Hardware knowledge of the following system types ispreferred: Dell, HP, IBM Enterprise class computing hardware, Cisco UCS, Pure, and NetApp (SAN storage and blade server technologies). Support knowledge and expertise with Cloud Computing technologies such as AWS, Azure and Office 365 administration and implementation. Incumbent works with various parties to bring technical projects to completion as well as designing and managing Active Directory Services, Federation Services, DFS and integration of AD/Azure AD with various system platforms and related services.
