The Radiology Secretary helps to improve the operational efficiency of a radiology department. Some of the duties to consider for this role:
Your role organizes and manages the department activities within the Colorado Breast Care Center.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Radiology, you will perform patient registration, clerical items, and customer service.
You will interact with physicians, hospital directors, other hospital executives, as well as employees, patients and families.
Your role assists in the completion of department assignments.

The Medical Center of Aurora is comprised of six campuses in Aurora and Centennial, Colo., including the Main Campus, located at Interstate 225 and Mississippi, the North Campus Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, Centennial Medical Plaza, Saddle Rock ER, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, Spalding Rehabilitation at P/SL, and a medical office building at Green Valley Ranch.
The Main Campus facility is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation, and has an affiliation with Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children as well as the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute. High School diploma or equivalent.
Three years secretarial experience.
Advanced computer skills preferred. Excellent telephone skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or similar systems preferred. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, JCAHO, CMS, and Life Safety standards preferred. General knowledge of legal procedures/practices. Excellent spelling, grammar, and verbal communication and written composition skills. Customer service skills.
Degree of supervision required:
Involves general guidance and direction by the Assistant Director of Radiology. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
