The Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) is a commercial software system, OnCore, that supports clinical research functions across Fred Hutch, the University of Washington (UW) and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA). The system is managed by a Program Office. The OnCore Coordinator will provide OnCore application support and administration. This individual must be a detail-oriented professional who can quickly adapt to a variety of situations. Clinical research experience is highly recommended and familiarity with online database systems is recommended. This position will be responsible for understanding system functionality and connectivity across the tri-institutional environment. This individual will assess workflow changes from a system functionality perspective and document workflow requirements and system functions to meet these requirements. This individual will be responsible for changes to reference lists and workflow changes in OnCore.
Function as the product manager for the OnCore application
Maintain system documentation of committee review and approval of changes, system changes, scripts and upgrades.
Understand and provide recommendations for application set up to align with organizational goals
Collaborate with OnCore end users, technical support, key stakeholders and organizational leadership
Work with internal resources or Forte, where appropriate, to navigate system issues and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
Coordinate the evaluation of upgrades on the non-prod and prod environments and provide feedback to Forte product support regarding the new functionality
Articulate to functional area experts how the upgrades to OnCore may affect current policies and procedures
Help implement metrics to track OnCore adoption and present metrics to organizational leadership
Assist in identifying requirements and develop reports to meet organizational reporting needs
Document business needs and prioritize product enhancements and requirements to Forte product support
Participate in data migration-related activities
Participate in Epic upgrade related activities as they affect OnCore
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
Product management experience
Clinical research experience strongly preferred but not required
Demonstrate accountability in task ownership and solution-oriented work approach
Must be able to work independently using initiative and good judgment
Knowledgeable in the use of information technology
Experience identifying and understanding process improvements
Proven organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
