The Manager, Risk, Safety and Facilities manages and coordinates the activities and operations of the Risk & Safety Division with the Administrative Services group. The Manager, Risk, Safety and Facilities primary function is to the risks of the Authority, its employees, customers, reputation, assets, and interests of stakeholders. This is done through planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management plan, process, and strategy, which may include business continuity, corporate governance, enterprise risk, information and security risk, market and credit risk, regulatory and operational risk, and technology risk. This position also manages the operation, repair and maintenance of the General Office and Hangar facilities, including fleet vehicles, equipment, building and grounds to minimize interruption and improve efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Environment or Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required. Minimum of five years of experience in Safety and Environmental and at least three years of supervisory responsibilities. Board of Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Insurance Institute of America certifications as ARM, AIC, AIU, and/or other risk/safety certifications highly preferred.
