As a ClinicalNurse Coordinator (Charge RN) at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, you willwork under the general supervision of theunit’s director. You will assumeresponsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit onyour designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the managementteam, you would be responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality ofpatient care services provided in unit.
What youwill do in this role:
You will assume responsibility fordirection and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
You will functions as a resourceperson for staff member and assists in necessary education of individualmembers of the nursing staff.
You will assume responsibility forthe overall quality of nursing care provided when you are on duty
You will make decisions regardingactivities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards,Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards ofCare for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
You will have a commitment andunderstanding of staffing matrix/productivity standards, the goals of the unit,patient safety initiatives and positive patient experience.
What qualifications you will need:
Current licensure in the State ofColorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurselicense.
Basic LifeSupport certification through the American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross.
Graduatefrom an accredited school of nursing.
A BSN is preferred.
Two (2) years of clinical practicein the clinical specialty of your unit and leadership/ management experience ispreferred.
