Underthe supervision of the laboratory manager, performs EEGs in the laboratory andat the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units.Performs Ambulatory EEG recordings andelectrocerebral silence tracings.Performs intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring(INDM) of patients in the epilepsycenter.Performs evoked potentialrecordings. Assists physicians in EMG, NCV and TCD studies. Shares an on-callrotation with other staff for emergency studies.

BLScertification from AHA or ARC required.
Mustbe ABRET EEG registered.Knowledge/experience in neurophysiologic testing including evokedpotentials.
Graduateof an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by theCommittee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formaltraining. Some college level work is preferable.
2years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spentin training).
Able to independentlyperform routine EEG studies as per job-specific criteria.
Degree of Supervision Required
Minimal – individual proceeds on his/herown initiative in compliance with policies, procedures, and practice prescribedby immediate supervisor.
Orientation Period:90 days
