The Department of Theatre, Film, and Digital Production seeks to hire a qualified lecturer to teach one section of TFDP 149: Stage Management in the Fall 2020 quarter (October 1 - December 18, 2020). The class meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 - 10:50 am PST. It will be taught in a remote format through Zoom.
The course explores the role and function of the stage manager in theatrical production. Provides basic skills to work in the field of stage management emphasizing organization, documentation, and dissemination of information.

The appointment will begin on October 1, 2020 and continue for one quarter, with a salary of approx. $6264.56 per course. The position is contingent upon funding.
Required Qualifications: MFA in Stage Management, or a minimum of 3 years equivalent professional experience. The candidates should have professional stage management experience at the regional and/or national level.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the university level is desired. UCR is a world-class research university with an exceptionally diverse undergraduate student body.
