The purpose of this position is to oversee the OneSite deposit refund process in its entirety by reviewing all requests for security deposit refunds via the Oracle interface or manual check requests. The position is responsible for evaluating reports used to determine the accuracy of refunds and interacts with the onsite teams to ensure the appropriate criteria is met for the processing of all refunds. Also, the position is responsible for the update of excel spreadsheets used in the reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts at OneSite month-end close as well as preparing corresponding reconciling journal entries at close and journal entries relating to corporate deposits
Analyze reports daily used to determine the processing of deposit refunds, check request and onsite transfers.
Monitor OneSite transactions received via the OneSite/Oracle interface to ensure no duplicates or invalid information is processed.
Provide guidance to onsite staff to ensure appropriate criteria is met in the processing of deposit refunds, security deposit transfers and the preparation of Final Account Statements.
Posting of collection payments from third party collection agency to Onesite resident ledgers.
Prepare month end account reconciliations for OneSite close.
Prepares daily cash journal entries for corporate deposits and other miscellaneous journal entries as needed
Prepare quarterly account reconciliations for review by Financial Reporting.
Back up to Revenue Accounting Clerk on daily corporate deposits.
Accounting research/projects as needed.
Enhances and presents a positive image of the company and a professional manner toward employees, staff and the public.
Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.
College degree preferred
5+ years experience in an office environment
Basic accounting skills desired
Microsoft office excel, word, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
Must have normal range of vision to complete applications, leases, general paperwork and handle computerized bookkeeping duties; hearing and speech to communicate with residents, vendors, supervisors and coworkers on the telephone or in person on a regular basis
Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis
Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position
Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community
Hazards can be avoided with proper lifting techniques, SDS and general safety training
Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
