Responsibilities include providing instruction and monitoring the teaching/learning effectiveness in courses taught in the Cosmetology curriculum for dual credit students. Must be able to teach hybrid courses. Assist with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts. Subject to criminal background check. Resume required in addition to the application.
Must have a current Cosmetology Instructor license from the state of Texas. Three years of current related work experience. Demonstrate knowledge of all Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulations Rules and Regulations and be proficient in classroom theory and lab applications required of students enrolled in Cosmetology courses.

Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, but it is not a requirement.
Must have at least three years of experience in the field of Cosmetology.
Would prefer applicants with at least two years of teaching experience.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
Instructor will be required to teach half days. Adjunct instructors may only receive 19 hours per week.
Will be needing two instructors. One will teach mornings, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-11:30am.
The other will teach in the afternoons, Monday through Thursday, 12:30-5:30.
