Serves as the front-line greeter of the office to all in-office visitors to Academic Testing and Student Disability Services on the Fort Worth campus. Provides customer service and administrative support for students and faculty members. Performs day-to-day office procedures. Performs RegisterBlast management activities and assists staff with the use of the application. Required hours for the position are:Â Mondayâ“Thursday: 10 AMâ“8 PM with an hour for lunch and Friday : 8 AMâ“Noon. May be required to serve different shift schedules including some evenings so that all testing center hours are covered.
Responsibilities: 30% Customer Service Serves as the front-line greeter of the office to all in-office visitors. Applies, interprets, and communicates policies and procedures and serves as a resource for answering questions regarding policies. Provides customer service and administrative support for students and faculty members. May receive and address minor issues. Escalates all other issues to the Testing Coordinator and/or Disability Services Coordinator.
50% Office Support Performs day-to-day office procedures, including: Scheduling of exams; Proctoring student exams; Assisting with Student Disability Services; Managing Testing Center calendar; Answering and routing phone calls; Guiding visitors to the appropriate parties; Fielding interdepartmental communications; Answering emails; Maintaining office supplies and equipment; Maintaining office reference materials including online office materials; Delivering, picking up, or receiving documents, supplies, equipment, or materials; Assisting Testing Coordinator with Graduate Assistant schedules, duties, and Testing Center and Disability Services help. May serve different shift schedules including some evenings so that all testing center hours are covered. May coordinate activities and assign work to Graduate Assistant.
10% Technology Support Performs RegisterBlast management activities and assists staff with the use of this application. Assists staff with use of RegisterBlast.
10% Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four years of general clerical or office experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. Exceptional interpersonal, planning and organizational skills. Demonstrated customer service skills. Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated problem-solving skills to handle office duties and optimize office operations.
