Kaweah Delta Health Care District is seeking a highly qualified Director of Risk Management. The Director reports to the VP/Chief Quality Officer forming strong partnerships across the entire District. As the Director of the Risk Management (RM) Department, you will facilitate the identification, evaluation, and management and mitigation of issues representing general or professional liability to patients, visitors, staff, and District property. You will provide leadership and guidance to 5 direct reports. Utilizing your strong communication skills, you will consult with the Executive team to identify and mitigate risk and review and complete any occurrence reporting. Your management skills and knowledge of organization risk will grow as you coordinate the district’s self-insurance, excess and commercial insurance programs. You will have a direct impact on the District’s financial, clinical and operational success to provide world-class healthcare services to our community. Current license in a relevant clinical discipline such as RN, Pharmacist, Physical Therapist, e.t.c.
District approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
Two or more years of healthcare experience in risk, quality and/or patient safety. with 1 year leadership experience
Three or more years of management/supervisory experience.
Additional Salary Information: Annual performance review. Bonus based on District wide goals
