Overall responsibility for directing and coordinating the daily functions and duties of the back office; patient/clinician flow, compliance to regulatory requirements, ensuring education/training is up to date, HR management, scheduling (daily, weekly, and monthly), quality projects, safety for staff, patients and visitors, and attending meetings. Supervises staff at 3 different clinic locations.
Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN
1 year of supervisory or lead worker experience in a high volume clinic (2500 + patients per month)
Dealing with difficult patients/customers
Knowledge of information technology
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to draw blood and give injections on adults and pediatric patients
Ability to lead a diverse team
Ability to meet deadlines and urgent patient and system needs

Strong Computer skills and type 45 wpm
Excellent organizational skills

Prefer bachelors degree in Business or related field
Masters in health care related field
AAMA or RMA Certified
Previous supervision of 5-15 staff
Previous family practice experience
Previous experience working in a low income clinic (Federally qualified health center or rural health center)
Previous experience with culturally diverse patients
Bi-lingual: Russian or Spanish
