Del Paso Manor Water District is seeking a dynamic, team player as an Operations & Maintenance Technician II with the ability to perform routine duties involving the operations and maintenance of water pumping, distribution and water treatment facilities using safe work practices to deliver reliable and quality water for consumption to DPMWD users.
This recruitment will fill one (1) vacancy and create an eligible list. Regional Government Services and its staff is conducting this recruitment for the Del Paso Manor Water District.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: At least two (2) years of water distribution experience with a water district is required.
Education: Graduation from High School or equivalent to the completion of 12th grade.
License and Certificate:
Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
Possession of a Grade D2 Water Distribution Operator Certificate from the State of California Water Resources Control Board; and
Possession of a Grade T2 Water Treatment Operator Certificate from the State of California Water Resources Control Board within 12 months of appointment.
Possession of Conservation Practitioner and Backflow Certifications are required within one (1) year from date of hire. Failure to obtain or maintain the required license may be cause for disciplinary action and/or termination.

Del Paso Manor Water District provides potable water for residential, commercial, and institutional use and has 1,800 connections.
