Required Qualifications
10 plus years work experience in a large Academic Medical Center and or health system.
Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Science, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university and/or a combination of education and experience in Healthcare.
GROW and/or KATA coaching experience.
Health educator and/or certified training experience.
Experience working with regulatory agencies, such as TJC and CMS, to collect and analyze publicly reported data according to their guidelines.
Advanced knowledge and experience successfully training and implementing continuous process improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) tools and concepts, such as: structured. problem solving approaches, DMAIC methodology and tools; Lean and Six Sigma technical concepts; and visual systems.
Experience using tools such as white boards for patient communication.
Knowledge of advanced behavior based coaching methods (e.g. GROW model).
Highly proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint analytical software.
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation of survey data results administered by organization such as Press Ganey Inc.
Knowledge of healthcare delivery, quality improvement best practices and terminology.
Demonstrated computer skills including analytical software (Press Ganey Portal(s), Tableau, QlkView, Minitab, and etc.).
Lean, Six Sigma, Quality and/or Patient Experience certification.
Large Scale program development and deployment (e.g. leadership rounds, patient safety rounds, or similar program).
Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) management experience.
Prior management and supervisory experience.
