The Physical Education Program at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applicants for part-time non-tenure track lecturer positions. Positions may be available as early as Fall 2020.
Successful candidates will teach physical activity courses at elementary through advanced levels in physical education. In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties may include: holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g. syllabus), creating and grading exams, and using a learning management system (e.g. bCourses) and/or maintaining a course website. Positions may vary from 9% per semester to 45% FTE depending upon need(1-5 classes per semester). Successful candidates will teach Physical Education classes at elementary through advanced levels in the following subject areas:
