The USC School of Architecture is seeking an Undergraduate Admission Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting all admission and communication processes for the schoolâs undergraduate freshman and transfer applicants.Â
Work directly with the Executive Director of Student Services to coordinate communication with applicants including emails, telephone calls, and walk-ins.Â
Coordinates and gives scheduled and unscheduled student visits/tours.
Work with Executive Director of Student Services to coordinate development and execution of communication plans with applicants, including response systems for applicant inquiries and follow-up systems for application completion.Â Write customized responses.
Communicate in person, by telephone and in writing with domestic and international students about
status of admission applications. Counsel applicants on admission policies and procedures as well as offer
solutions to applicant problems and requests regarding admission via telephone and in writing.
Oversee the processing of undergraduate applicant records and prepare for faculty and director review. Help facilitate the completion of the reviews in order to enter admission decisions.
Assist with the development, coordination and delivery of departmental events such as prospective and admitted student open houses, new student orientations, receptions, etc.
Assist with data collection and reporting as needed.
Stay current on a wide range of university policies, school-wide policies, and global educational trends
affecting graduate students, admission and special programs.
Participate in school-wide events such as Commencement.
Coordinate the Summer Exploration of Architecture Program for High School Students to support the faculty and USC Summer Programs.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Extensive experience with MS Office software, particularly Excel and Access or other database systems. Ability to set priorities to complete assignments in a timely manner and in the face of changing priorities.
