The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator will contribute to the ongoing development of email and journey automations within UW Continuum College’s Marketing & Enrollment Services Salesforce team. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing and administering enterprise class CRM systems, as well as system integrations. This roll will take the lead and primary responsibility over support, maintenance, and improvement of Marketing Cloud, as well as being the administrator for projects related to system integrations. General day-to-day support and maintenance of the CRM platform is shared with the Salesforce administrator role and support is sought from Salesforce developers or product owners as needed.
Create segmentation groups, track and develop reports and dashboards
Create journeys using Journey Builder and sync data from Salesforce to Marketing Cloud and back
Coordinate and support internal teams to resolve complex issues and collaborate and train other team members
Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes
Lead collaborations with Marketing Automation Manager and/or Salesforce Developer on epic projects
General Salesforce Support
Responsible for projects related to system and/or data integration— could include but not limited to: UW SIS system, Qualtrics, Google Analytics, Google Drive, third party vendors
Thoroughly reviews release notes for vendor upgrades to identify any risks and opportunities
Troubleshoot user issues as escalated by Salesforce Administrator
Manage user permissions and operational governance in production, sandbox, and developer sandbox environments
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field (equivalent experience may substitute for minimum requirements)
Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with technical implementation and day to day operations experience
Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience with email automation systems; preferably Marketing Cloud
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems or third parties
Salesforce Admin Certification (ADM 201)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification
Experience with Qualtrics
Knowledge of project and scrum management techniques
Knowledge of application development technologies and methodologies
Experience with a variety of development languages (Apex, Java, SQL Server, XML, etc.)
