Our practice is seeking dedicated neonatal nurse practitioners to join our expanding team of 20 neonatologists and 17 NNPs who work together collaboratively to provide exceptional care for neonates in the St. David's Healthcare System in Austin, Texas.
Clinical responsibilities include prenatal and newborn consultations, attendance of high-risk deliveries and comprehensive management of neonates in newborn nurseries
Level-II and Level-III NICUs
Flexible scheduling includes 24 and 12 hour shifts
We welcome new graduates and experienced nurse practitioners.
St. David's Women's Center of Texas, a 37-bed, Level-III unit, expanding to 57 beds, with a newborn delivery service of approximately 6,000 per year
St. David's Medical Center, a 65-bed, Level-III unit with neonatal surgical services and a newborn delivery service of approximately 4,300 per year
St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, a 12-bed, Level-II unit and a 9-bed Level-II at St. David's South Austin Medical Center
In addition, NNPs provide coverage for the normal newborn services at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center and St. David's South Austin Medical Center
Medical services provided by our practice include HFOV, nitric oxide and total body cooling
A strong MFM program and pediatric subspecialties support our NICUs
