The USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology Fall Prevention Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its team!
The Administrative Assistant will manage the day-to-day administrative tasks within the Fall Prevention office, provide support to their online professional training program, maintain the center websites and online training program, and support center projects as needed. This is a part-time position with a four-day work schedule that will require substantial commitment and flexibility.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: answering phones;Â handle officeÂ and databaseÂ organization; support research, e-newsletter, and social media activities, update websites and online training program contentdaily and weekly using HTML, HTML5, andWordPress.
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Required:Â prior administrative experience, strong oral and written communication skills, organization, computer, and literature search skills,Â proficientÂ inÂ Microsoft Office suite, ableÂ to troubleshoot and work independently.
Preferred experience in HTML, Photoshop,Â WordPress,Â basic understanding of editing in Blackboard and Course Sites, andÂ HTML5.
Education and Field of Experience: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
Minimum Experience: 2 years.
Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical and administrative experience.
