DCH Specialty Clinics includes several multi-disciplinary practices serving the needs of some of our most vulnerable community members. All services must be patient/family centered with special attention to the coordination of care across multiple service units. This position must work closely with attending physicians and providers ensuring quality service and care.
The Clinical Operations Supervisor, in collaboration with a Nurse/Practice Manager, will be responsible for the supervision, leadership, and guidance of clinical operations and staff for Doernbecher Pediatric Specialties Clinics. The Clinical Operations Supervisor will partner with the interdisciplinary care team to effectively deliver quality patient care and ensure compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. This position will support all clinical staff including medical assistants through daily operations of personnel and performance management, staff evaluations, coaching, clinic space planning, facilities, procurement of inventory and equipment, and quality/safety initiatives while adhering to all hospital and clinical standards or policies. In addition will assist in preparation of budgets, and monitors financialperformance.
Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program
BLS from accrediting agency
Three years of MA clinical experience, with at least 1 year recent lead or supervisory experience, supervising front line staff in a high-volume, direct patient contact medical setting.
Service excellence, computer skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate withproviders,staff, patients and families .
Ability to work well under pressure;take initiative, apply sound analytical judgment, exercise problem solving and critical thinking skills, while adapting to an ever changing and challenging environment
Effective delegation and prioritization skills
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
2-5 years recent management experience, directly supervising front line staff in a high-volume, direct patient contact medical setting
Familiarity with Ambulatory Practice Care
