Chaplain

Episcopal High School in Houston seeks an ordained Episcopal Priest, who would report to the Dean of Spiritual Life. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight on Chapel Liturgical procedures and activities, as well as on the Pastoral Care Committee.
• Lead, coordinate, and participate in daily worship and in special seasonal chapel services and events.
• Interact and coordinate events with the Diocese and other Episcopal churches, as directed by the Head of School.
• Develop and manage the Chapel budget.
• Assist in the design and organization of retreats for freshmen and seniors.
• Be actively involved in the life of the School – such as attendance at after-school athletic, arts, or academic events.
• Teach classes as assigned by the Department Chair and approved by the Head of School.
