Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process to provide care to all patients with respect for their uniqueness using informed judgment, individual competence and qualifications, and collaboration with the health care team. Assesses patients’ physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care. Documents patients medical status upon admission and throughout the patients course of treatment.
Education: Completion of an accredited nursing education program that is accredited and satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience: At least one-year RN experience in a direct patient care setting preferred.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Colorado or a participating compact state. National board certification is a preference and encouraged for staff nurses.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR.
