The Library Administration Specialist serves as the primary point of contact at the highly visible Service Point in Libraries Administration and will provide our staff, students, and guests with an extraordinary customer experience while providing broad administrative support to Libraries staff.
Maintains and updates accurate records for various Libraries processes such as student employee files, payroll records, and expense reports as well as maintaining process documentation for Libraries administrative practices. Organizes and processes business and accounting data for the Libraries including purchase orders, procurement card logs, and travel authorizations for Libraries staff. Coordinates payroll and Student Employee budgets for Libraries departments. Collaborates with and serves as a backup for Administrative Assistant II, Accounting Clerk III, and Coordinator I, Special Programs. Performs other duties assigned.
High School diploma. Two (2) years of library experience or the equivalent experience. Computer literate and technologically adept. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in Windows Operating System and file management.
Four (4) years of related experience with one (1) year of supervisory experience
One (1) year of experience working with expense reports, purchase orders, or other accounting related experience.
