Summary: Under minimal supervision, directs business functions of the department and is responsible for budgets, business and service development, strategic planning and providing overall management direction for the business. Analyzes the business needs of internal and external customers with the goal of identifying operational deficiencies and implement successful resolutions.
Experience 1. Seven years’ interpreting experience required. Interpreting in medical setting preferred. 2. Three years’ customer service experience required. 3. Three years’ supervisory or lead experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Analytical and logical thinking skills. 2. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. 3. Provide excellent customer service in a support environment and relate to a diverse patient population, including excellent telephone skills. 4. Excellent follow through and detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy. 5. Prioritize and perform a multitude of duties. 6. Inspire trust and demonstrate strong leadership skills, working within a fast paced environment. 7. Provide team support with patience, respect, and equality. 8. Able to maintain a working knowledge of each area to ensure competency in all departments’ functions. 9. Bilingual skills.
Computers and Technology 1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint). 2. Epic EMR experience preferred 3. Knowledge of call center technology such as Cisco, Verint Certificates, Licenses and Registration 1. Certification in a medical terminology course preferred.
