Critical Care Highlights:
CCU 2 (13 beds) and CCU 3 (13 beds) for a combined unit total of 26 patient beds
2 Heart Surgeons with privileges and collaborating Intensivists
Very busy Cath Lab
Staffing 1:1 – post-op open hearts, IABP (balloon pump, CRRT, Therapeutic Hypothermia) with over 350+ heart surgeries per year
Use of progressive industry technology such as; CRRT, Centrimag, Impella, TAVR, ECMO
As the Critical Care Nurse Manager, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of overall nursing care to patients in our 26-bed department. In this role, you will design, coach, and lead your nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical team members in collaboration with your Clinical Coordinators, Charge RNs and Preceptor staff. You will utilize your strong mentoring and leadership skills to ensure that staff is participating in available professional development opportunities and current in required training and certifications to allow them to provide the best care possible to our patients. To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strategic, adaptable, growth-oriented, and team-focused personality
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a charge nurse or other equivalent leadership experience required. Three years of previous Critical Care management experience preferred.
Licensure in the State of Idaho as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
BLS required from American Red Cross or Healthcare Provider Card from the American Heart Association
