The massage therapist will work within a multiprofessional team consisting of physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychologists to provide therapeutic massage in order to treat acute and chronic pain for patients seen in the Comprehensive Pain Center (CPC).Must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities.The CPC is an established practice and will provide a steady stream of referrals, but the practitioner must be independent and motivated to expand their practice.
Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program
Licensure from the Oregon Board of Massage Therapist
Experience in pain management
Compassionate individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task, good communication skills and ability to relate well with patients who are suffering from pain, both acute and chronic
