Tuality Healthcare, an Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Partner, is starting a new community-based primary care residency in Hillsboro, OR and we are seeking a clinician-educator to support this new program, provide exceptional patient care, and further the educational mission. This position is a full-time academic position in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine at OHSU School of Medicine. This position will include continuity ambulatory practice and potentially interim care for the practice. Clinical care duties will be the equivalent of 8 half days per week. When trainees start in the future, clinical work will include 1 full day of precepting residents or students. Evening clinic hours will be expected at a 1 day per week. Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicineand Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other. Opportunities for teaching abound and participation is encouraged and valued. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship, as directed by his or her department. Compensation for this position for the first full year is a guaranteed salary, in subsequent years the compensation will include a base salary plus an incentive based on the success and productivity of clinical work.
