The Financial Analyst supports the financial reporting and analysis activity for a portion of Conifer's business operation. Works under general supervision to reconcile and research variances associated with business operations. Tracks project performance and updates leadership on project status. Helps finance and operational leadership to develop and maintain an environment of financial accountability, including a focus on revenue capture, expense control, and corporate compliance. Uses tools to analyze performance against operational budgets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consolidate financial results and variance drivers for subordinate organizations.
Analyze the organizationï¿½s operating results and its principal components relative to established objectives, working with departmental leadership/finance/operations to take action to correct any negative trends or variances.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of financial information for review and approval by leadership.
Develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests utilizing available tools and technologies.
Tracking, reconciling and projecting project costs across multiple clients and facilities.

Thorough knowledge of federal, state and regulatory accounting and reporting regulations, GAAP, cost management techniques, financial analysis and budgets required
Excellent skills in complex analytic problem solving, strategic planning, program development, project management, change management and group process
Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to rapidly assimilate complex data and make decisions
Thorough knowledge of financial analysis methods
Thorough ability to recognize financial and accounting implications of business plans and decisions including the applicable federal and state laws and regulation related to the outsourcing and healthcare industries
Strong drive for results including demonstrated initiative necessary to anticipate, recognize and solve for challenges/problems
Sensitive to deadlines and strive to deliver quality information in a timely manner while handling multiple priorities
Must demonstrate customer focus (internal and external), attention to detail, command skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity
Proficient in use of Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
Able to manage through influence and collaboration
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
0 - 3 years financial analysis experience
4 year college degree with in Accounting, Finance or related area
