Under the supervision of the Law Clinics Administrator, the Law Clinics Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the School of Law clinical program. As part of the clinical program, the Law Clinics Coordinator works with and assists other program staff to execute tasks in an intense and fast-paced work environment. The Law Clinics Coordinator is expected to provide a high level of customer service, in a working legal clinic, to faculty, staff and students, and the University at large. Duties may include but are not limited to assisting with legal document preparation and court filings, case calendaring, document review, organizing, filing, arranging travel, preparing reimbursements, coordinating special events and meetings, maintaining clinic suites, and acting as a liaison between clinic faculty and administration, students, staff, and public clients. The Law Clinics Coordinator is expected to conduct research and provide analyses and solutions for administrative problems and apply extensive knowledge of School of Law and University administrative policies and procedures. The Law Clinics Coordinator must consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, confidentiality, independence, good judgment, flexibility in performing a wide variety of duties, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and to work well under pressure. Performance at this level requires independent critical thinking and problem solving, strong verbal and written communication skills, creative thinking, knowledge of office environment and technology, and a commitment to seeing tasks and projects through to completion.
