The End User Sales Manager is responsible for driving the company's Connected Enterprise strategy at assigned accounts. This requires the ability to recruit, retain and intentionally develop a team, execute on the global industry focus, deliver on Rockwell's 2-pronged approach, and deliver a positive customer experience. This role is also part of a SouthWest Region leadership team that needs to look at short-term and long-term strategies as we evolve our Sales organization into an Outcome Based Solution Selling team.
Recruit, Retain and Develop 8 direct reports and 1 Team Led (who has 3 direct reports) in the Seattle and Portland territory.
Engage with sales team on reviewing their 70-20-10 plans to ensure short term and long-term development plans
Develop a succession plan for the territory and engage with cross-territory teams to engage with team members.
Engage with the leadership team to identify gaps in the team and provide business plans to make investment heads.
Drive awareness with regional management team on flight risks and develop a strategy/plan to retain employees
Deliver on a $75m+ End User business by executing on the global industry plan
Primary focus on the following industries: Food & Beverage, Forrest Products, Water/WasteWater, and Oil &Gas.
Manage the Sales Process with sales engineers to ensure enough opportunities exist to achieve or exceed annual sales goals. Focused areas as such:
Service Contract and Assessments
Information Software and Connected Services
Leverage Power to Grow Process
Establish/monitor account packages for Sales Engineers; ensure that Sales Engineers are focused on the largest / strategic end user opportunities within the territory.
Analyze local market information and provide ongoing local market intelligence to help develop targeted industries and applications.
Deliver on Rockwell's 2-pronged approach
Ensure 100% Compliance Win Strategy 2.0 is executed to be consistent and transparent on Rockwell's delivery strategy
Engage with the Territory Sales Manager to communicate with key Solution Partners and System Integrators.
Deliver a Positive Customer Experience
Clearly articulate and teach the Rockwell Automation Connected Enterprise message
Be the Customer Advocate and Escalate Issues by leveraging the customer issues resolution process
Engage on Customer Health checks with the sales team to ensure no surprises with our best accounts
