The Santa Clara County Office of Education is in search of an experienced Itinerant Audiologist who can provide valuable support and guidance for our students ages 0-22, who are deaf and hard of hearing. This position will monitor and maintain the function of amplification devices, cochlear implants and remote microphone technology; provide consultation to staff ensuring deaf and hard of hearing students’ access to spoken instruction and accommodations; and support staff in providing students who are deaf and hard of hearing equal access to curriculum and social events at school.
Required Certification and Education
A California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing service in educational Audiology; or
A Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university and a valid California state license in Audiology

About Santa Clara County Office of Education
Working collaboratively with school and community partners, the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) is a regional service agency that provides instructional, business, and technology services to the 31 school districts of Santa Clara County. The County Office of Education directly serves students through special education programs, alternative schools, Head Start and State Preschool programs, migrant education, and Opportunity Youth Academy. The SCCOE also provides academic and fiscal oversight and monitoring to districts in addition to the 23 Santa Clara County Board of Education authorized charter schools.
