Ascension Seton, in conjunction with The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, is offering an ASHP accredited Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency. Ascension Seton is a 12-hospital network in Austin and the surrounding Central Texas area. The primary base for the residency program is at Dell Ascension Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas (a large tertiary care, academic institution and Level I trauma center). However, the resident may gain experiences in a variety of inpatient hospital settings with the opportunity to complete rotations at up to 4 of our community hospitals. The residency is designed to provide the resident with a diverse training program with a focus on Internal Medicine. After the orientation month, residents complete five to six months of Internal Medicine, one month of Infectious Diseases, and one month of Cardiology. Other rotations are available as electives.
