Position Summary: Incumbent provides patient care to an assigned group of patients. Acts as a role model and resource to clinic staff and coordinates physicians and patients as requested by the supervisor/manager. Assists in developing patient education for assigned clinic. Utilizes a team based approach to delivering patient care services.
Rate Minimum $47.00 Midpoint $55.76 Maximum $64.52
Required Qualifications: 1 year current oncology and chemotherapy experience requiredAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to work effectively with colleagues, physicians and others as part of a care teamAll external candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in NursingBLS Certification or obtain within 3 months of hire dateCurrent California RN licenseCurrent chemotheropy/biotherapy card required within 3 months of hireDemonstrated knowledge and practice of infection control techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishKnowledge and practice of body mechanicsMinimum of six months demonstrated nursing experienceMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
