TheFloat Pool Registered Nursedemonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects ofthe population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specializedskills. The delivery of care is based onthe physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of theindividual patient. The Registered Nursemay rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and willperform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegatedduties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within thephilosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC.

Current Colorado Registered NurseLicense (may work on a current RN compact license for the first 180 days ofemployment).
Current BLS Certification through AHA.

Graduate of a certified School ofNursing.
BSN strongly preferred.
Able to articulate and demonstrateappropriate nursing theory and practice.
