Job DescriptionLeads the implementation and execution of the Company s strategies, programs, policies, and initiatives related to investment management associated with the underwriting of the portfolio of owned assets and develops and implements business plans and practices that achieve the financial, investment, and operating goals of the Asset Management business. Manages client equity relationships and satisfaction by maintaining on-going communication, providing detailed reports, market updates, and financial analysis on the performance of the portfolios, acting quickly and with urgency to address client concerns, questions, or requests, and reviewing and acting on client satisfaction survey results.
Participates with the Company s senior leaders in routine market review discussions to examine the overall operational and financial results for the owned asset portfolio, present and justify business plans, make strategy recommendations, and complete portfolio return and valuation analysis.
Communicates with and closely interacts with Investment Committee, Lenders, and Equity Partners reviewing revenue, expense and NOI trends, and recommending strategies and programs that maximize the performance of the portfolio.
Manages and oversees the portfolio s compliance with debt and equity providers, develops and provides reports to investment committee and equity partners, monitors investment performance, returns, and forecasts through DCF financial modeling, and recommends ways to optimize returns at the asset level.
Monitors and oversees the portfolio s performance against budget and investment proforma, managing and monitoring cash flow, making strategic recommendations on asset capitalization, and preparing monthly and quarterly client portfolio/performance reports.
Reviews market, economic, and capital trends and factors impacting the performance of the asset, prepares and delivers presentations and updates to investment committee/equity partners, and participates in formulating the long-term disposition and exit strategy for the assets.
Develops and leads revenue-enhancing and expense containment programs and initiatives at the property level, monitors resident turnover and satisfaction indicators, and identifies and acts on opportunities to drive operational excellence to enhance value
Reviews the annual asset plans of the portfolio, including revenue, expense, NOI, and other key financial and operating targets, develops the annual capital and operating budgets, and formulates strategies that create asset value and drive operational and financial performance of the portfolio.

(MBA preferred)QualificationsDemonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal, financial, and human resources documents, to create and make presentations to senior managers, clients/owners, team members, and others.
Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to lead, direct, evaluate, and mentor subordinate and peer employee staff.
Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database management applications, and property management system (preferably Yardi or Real Page) in order to produce and complete required reports, financial statements, and employment documents.
