This position will provide research support to the Child Welfare Partnership Training Unit in Salem, Oregon. Tasks will include entering data, cleaning data, preparing simple databases in Excel and SPSS, data management, doing basic quantitative and qualitative analysis, gathering information for reports and routine data processing, and conducting literature reviews. This person will need to work well in a team, be detail oriented, and able to work in a busy environment.
Bachelor’s degree OR experience doing evaluation/research work, including data collection, data entry, and working with databases.
Knowledge and experience with Word & Excel
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Sociology or other social science with courses in research methods
2 years of experience doing program evaluation, particularly social service or education related
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point
Knowledge of SPSS statistical software desirable
Knowledge of Atlas ti software desirable
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and communication skills
