Damien Fair\u2019s Neuroimaging Lab is looking for a candidate with expertise in small animal MRI neuroimaging, programming, and statistical analysis, animal behavior, and wet lab techniques including immunohistochemistry. The primary purpose for this position is to support translational research aimed at testing risk factors for developmental disorders. The incumbent will be heavily involved in assisting in the research, including programming, software development, and data analysis for these structural and functional brain imaging studies. A particular emphasis will be on development and testing of processing pipelines for both microscopy as well as MRI brain imaging data acquired in rat and mouse studies.
Specific responsibilities include:
Processing and analyzing MRI data; Small animal MRI data acquisition, data processing and analysis
Animal experiments; Conduct a variety of tests in rodents, administer drugs, conduct opto-fMRI and electrical stimulation, monitor animal vital signs.
Immunohistochemistry and microscopy; Prepare and analyze brain samples.
