The primary function of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is to provide anesthesia to pediatric patients under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist. CRNAs also perform pre-operative and post-operative assessment of patients as required. As Advanced Practice Nurses, CRNAs may perform patient histories and physicals, assisting the Pre-Anesthesia Nurse Practitioners as required for patient flow and case volume management. Baccalaureate Degree required, Masters Degree preferred. Pediatric experience preferred N/A N/A Required Preferred N/A Current Texas professional registered nurse license.
