About Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency
Pacific University School of Pharmacy offers a three-year Doctor of Pharmacy program and is fully accredited by ACPE. The School is housed in the state-of-the-art Health Professions Campus along with seven other health professional programs. VGMHC serves the low-income and medically under-served populations of Washington and Yamhill Counties with a special emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Our medical home has clinical pharmacy services, outpatient 340b pharmacies, laboratory, and primary care/behavioral health teams. A multi-disciplinary approach, collaborative drug therapy protocols, and EHR make this a patient-oriented and clinically involved community pharmacy residency. Teaching, precepting, and transitions of care experiences are provided through collaboration with Pacific University and Tuality Healthcare.
