The Space Early Career team, a part of Space University Recruiting, is seeking a High School Program Lead to join us on our mission. We work with students across the country to help them gain hands-on STEM experience that supplements their classroom learning. Our high school lead will help build and develop a diverse talent pipeline to meet the future needs of Space. In this unique role you will execute the current program framework while being able to help shape the future of Space’s high school program.
As the High School Program Lead, some of your responsibilities will include: • Act as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for the overall program management. • Work with current partner organizations and identify new organizations to engage and educate students about high school opportunities. • Create and execute engagement programs to recruit and retain interns. • Develop recruiting strategies, development, and engagement directed towards high school students. • Full- life cycle recruiting – sourcing, req management, interviewing, candidate keep warm, etc. • Work with different aspects of employment law and minors in the workplace. • Craft and deliver training programs for managers, interns, and leaders. • Adapt processes and procedures to fit the needs of the high school program. • Establish trust with candidates, interns, managers, HR, leaders, and external partners. • Track and communicate both internally and externally the status of the program and participants. • Conduct analysis on Space's high school recruiting and focus schools, STEM metrics, intern performance, etc. • Communicate and educate managers and HR leaders regarding the hiring strategy and logistics for the high school intern program.
This is a relatively new program and we are looking for you to bring your enthusiasm, critical thinking and creativity as the program continues to evolve.

Basic Qualifications: • Experience with full-life cycle recruiting • Experience leading a program • Quantitative and analytical skills • Ability to design and execute on programs and make process improvements • Ability to lead multiple projects and client relationships • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to travel up to 30% of the time • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Desired Skills: • Passion for working with and teaching students/interns • Experience in University Relations or University Recruiting • Experience running an internship program • Experience with STEM in some capacity, preferably recruiting, training, or management • Proven ability to adapt, promote and champion change • Knowledge of applicable HR related federal regulations including EEO • Ability to partner with multiple types of stakeholders • Excellent computer skills including PPT, Excel, Tableau, etc • Experience with running large programs • Attention to detail and able to work within multiple tracking systems • Experience presenting to both large and small audiences • Expertise in developing long term lasting relationships with key partners • Experience collaborating in a matrix organization to make process improvements • This position typically has 5-8 years of professional experience.
