We are looking for an individual to provide technical expertise to teams in providing solutions with Linux based systems. The Senior Linux Administrator will be required to gather business requirements, make recommendations and implement standards and solutions. You will be managing systems and services in the cloud and on premise. You will assist teams by building architectures for their services and in the adoption and deployment of DevOps processes and tools. You will help drive new technologies and policies to create scalable solutions.
Experience in managing Linux operating systems.
Experience with a configuration management tool or infrastructure as code including Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Terraform
Experience with SANs and cloud storage solutions
Experience with managing cloud resources, AWS experience is a plus
Experience in infrastructure services, such as DNS, Email and firewalls
Experience using Docker and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes is a plus
Experience with web based applications and infrastructure
Experience in a scripting language including Perl, PowerShell, Python or shell scripting
Experience with monitoring systems and sevices
Knowledge in one or more programming languages for system development is a plus
Experience using and maintaining CI/CD tools is a plus, such as Jenkins or similar tools
Experience with networking protocols and implementations
Demonstrated knowledge of security protocols and vulnerability remediation
Ability to manage shared resources, perform complex tasks and resolve complex systems problems
Ability to collaborate with team members
Additional Salary Information: 76 hour pay period with alternate Fridays off.
