Summary: Jobs in this family are responsible for developing,testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying of applications and relatedinformation technologies. In addition, they are responsible for theestablishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, as well ashardware and software components. This role provides consulting servicesregarding how to integrate information technologies into clinical and businessprocesses and the effective application of industry and organizational technologystandards. This position is a seasoned information technology professional,providing advanced proficiency within the Systems Analyst family. This positionprovides leadership in the development and application of technical,application and process knowledge within two or more application areas,striving to ensure that applications and the related information technologiescontinue to meet the ever changing clinical and business requirements of theorganization.
Expected activities include but are not limited to:monitoring the effectiveness of applications and related informationtechnologies in meeting user requirements, modification of applications asneeded to meet user requirements, the definition and development of reports,performing application upgrades, resolution of problems and issues associatedwith installed applications and related information technologies, diagnosis offailures encountered in application software and related technologies, qualitycontrol of all application implementations/enhancements prior to release tocustomers, maintaining an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plansin area(s) of responsibility, communication and documentation of all relevantitems and activities, works with vendors and other IT personnel to ensuretechnical compatibility and user satisfaction, provides direction to otheranalysts as required to ensure successful completion of tasks, identifiesbarriers to project success and communicate effectively about those barriers tothe appropriate team members, serves as the Project Manager for projects oflimited duration and complexity. This position will also consult with personnelin the organizational units within area of responsibility to analyze currentoperational procedures, identify problems, learn specific input and outputrequirements and recommend solutions that improve operations.
Position requires at least 7 years of direct experience anda high school diploma or equivalent. A BA/BS degree in IS or Business ispreferred. May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience inlieu of education and/or experience stated above.
Experience with ERP implementations and support related to HR,Payroll, Finance, and Supply Chain initiatives highly preferred.
Relevant Information Technology certifications preferred.
4+ years of experience in a System Application/BusinessAnalyst role.
Experience in managing small to medium projects.
Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting,documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements.
Extensive experience planning, facilitating, and executingSystem/Functional Testing and UAT for projects and enhancements.
Expertise in modeling/mapping business processes bothas-is and to-be.
Exceptional writing, communication, teamwork and influencingskills that foster a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.
Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.
Proven critical/analytical thinking and problem solvingskills.
