Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is recruiting for Inpatient Dietitians & Lead Dietitians.
Inpatient Dietitians perform nutritional assessments on inpatients. Duties include developing and implementing nutritional care plans based on physician ordered consultations and patients' preferences; formulating specialized diets; interviewing individuals or groups with special nutritional needs; and instructing and educating patients in proper dietary practices. Dietitians also serve as an educational resource to nursing staff, physicians, food services staff, interns, students, and other medical personnel on various nutritional topics.
Lead Dietitians evaluate, plan, coordinate and administer clinical dietary activities for patients. Lead Dietitians also perform nutritional assessments and physician ordered consultations; formulate specialized diets and instruct and educate on proper dietary practices. Additionally, the Lead Dietitian may assist the Supervising Dietitian by participating in the hiring process, providing input on work performance evaluations, assigning work, reviewing work and may assist with staff development of Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, Diet Clerks, and support staff.

Inpatient Dietitians : Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.
Lead Dietitians: Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian. -AND- Experience: Six (6) months of experience as a Registered Dietitian in an acute care hospital.
