The Program Specialist I (Community Engagement), under general supervision, will serve as a liaison with the local music and arts community and implement the Community Engagement Plan and will plan at least one (1) community engagement event per month in which Grantee will either host or participate.
This position is grant-funded. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant funding.
Will serve as a liaison with the local music and arts community and implement the Community Engagement Plan and will plan at least one (1) community engagement event per month in which Grantee will either host or participate.
Will work with the Digital Manager and Marketing Associate to promote events and ensure the greatest attendance and will also track attendance at events and collect feedback from attendees.
Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in applicable field.
No experience required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
Track record of increased responsibility in executing successful approaches to community engagement and outreach, or creating and delivering community engagement strategies that achieve results.
