A Day in the Life:
The Treasury Management Service Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely completion of day-to-day treasury activities for the Treasury function which includes reconciling bank accounts, systems administration for online banking access, and set-up of fraud tools services.
The Treasury Management Service Specialist works closely with Transitions, Regional Managers, banks, clients, Yardi Support, Accounts Payable and Property Accounting teams. The Treasury Management Service Specialist plays an active role on the Finance and Corporate Accounting team.
What You ll Do:
Oversees the implementation and maintenance of fraud tool services such as Check Positive Pay and ACH Positive Pay.
Verifies check positive files are received and processed by banking partners in a timely manner.
Maintains database that includes active bank accounts with fraud tool services status and requirements.
Works closely with Yardi Support, IT and AP Departments to ensure Check Positive Pay exceptions are verified and kept to less than 1% monthly.
Researches any and all exceptions and determine if it is a system error versus a true exception.
Maintains a positive and professional relationship with clients and bank representatives, including problem solving issues, responding to inquiries both verbally and in writing and maintaining documentation of all customer contact.
Updates, maintains and checks daily exceptions for ACH Positive Pay services.
Provides login credentials and establishes bank account access to new users and updates existing user profiles when requested by the accounting team.
Prepares and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Check Positive Pay, ACH Positive Pay and user entitlements.
Responsible for opening bank accounts with established financial institutions.
Provide support with establishing new banking relationships. Assist with all documents required by the bank/FINCEN, KYC regulations.
Any other tasks assigned or directed.
What You ll Need to Succeed:
Associate s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
One to two years of banking and treasury management services ( TMS )
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Previous experience with cash and accrual accounting
Working knowledge of GAAP, and local accounting rules, policies and requirements
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal customers, bank representatives and clients at all levels within the organization.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work requirements, multiple deadlines and competing demands.

Effective time management skills, and an outstanding ability to track and organize multiple tasks.
Ability to adapt to a challenging and developing environment; willingness to take on new responsibilities as our business evolves.

Ability to work during normal work hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m.) as well as evenings and weekends.
Consistent, regular and in person attendance during regular working hours at the workplace is required.
